I believe in growing as an artist, trying new things, challenging myself. I felt I had to really test myself with a large scale painting of one of my original photographs of a very sad day in the history of Celtic, the passing of Billy McNeill. The love shown from everyone was something to behold for the great man, a sad day by all accounts but also a day to look back and take in the achievements of the greatest captain the club has known and the achievements of the club as a whole. We’ve came a long way and the beauty of Celtic Park is only magnified by the grace of Billy McNeill.
